Hadees of The Day
Hazrat Mu'awiya (رضى الله عنه) reported that I wisited Al-Bara bin 'Azib and heard him saying: Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) commanded us to do seven things and forbade us to do seven (things).
Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Commanded us seven things to
- Visit the sick
- Follow the funeral procession
- Answer the sneezer
- Fulfill the vow (There is no vow in that which involves disobedience towards Allah)
- Help the poor
- Accept the invitation
- Greet everybody
Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Forbade us to
- Wear gold rings
- Drink in silver vessels
- Use the saddle cloth made of red silk
- Wear garments made of Qassi material
- Wear garments made of silk
- Wear garments made of brocade
- Wear garments made of velvet
